Glitch Brings Appy Hour to XOXO

Are you intrigued by or curious about how Glitch apps work? Want to meet up with your friends from the internet in a welcoming, creative space? We’re thrilled to announce that Glitch is coming to XOXO, the premiere experimental festival for artists and creators who make stuff online.

Anyone can build the web with Glitch, and we’ve always been inspired by the XOXO community. In 2018, we curated a section of the Art+Code track, hosted by Glitch's Director of Community Engineering Jenn Schiffer. We expanded our support this year by becoming a Community Patron and while we’re in town, we’re throwing a party 🎉 for XOXO attendees.

**Join us for **, a free app showcase and meet-and-greet for the extended Glitch and XOXO communities, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6 at Holocene.

At the top of each hour, we'll swoon together as app creators demo their work on stage. Feast your eyes on some radical Glitch art or code some of your own on the spot. We’ll help you along the way, as much or as little as you like.

Got an app of your own? Send it over to [email protected] and it could be featured in the showcase lineup. More details on how to attend and participate are here: https://appy-hour.glitch.me.

There’s no RSVP required, but if you’re excited to share that you’re coming, do tweet us @Glitch. We’d love to send you an early welcome. We can’t wait to see you in Portland!
